HEP 2009, August 29 - September 26

HEP 2009, Human Emotion Project, is a global video project, initiated by Alison Williams, South Africa. Artists from all around the world are invited to interpret human emotions and inner experiences using moving image. HEP 2009 invites curators from different parts of the world to make their selection of the material to be shown in different venues. Formverk (art zone) choose to present a month long exhibition with a big projection, with selected works in a loop of 40 minutes.
HEP 2009 has been screened at a large number of events, festivals and museums in Europe, and will continue to be spread with planned shows in China, Iran, Georgia, USA, Turkey and Canada.

"HEP 2009 was born out of a voyeuristic need to observe how other artists express themselves on an emotional level and to see the effectiveness of that in a social context via physical exhibitions and an online interaction."
